So with cable bucking the trend till potentially data time in 10 odd minutes am I stupid to think a big drop to below 122 is doable..?? I have set limits to 12180 as a nice TP area.

In line with the bolded, someone posted a line chart of the US CPI numbers. We noticed that it has done a "double top" or "batman" as some others call it.

It is "expected" that the CPI numbers will keep decreasing until at least 4.25

I am of the opinion that a decreasing CPI will translate to strength for the US Dollar.

So your proposition to buy the dollar should be correct.

Note: My fundamental analysis is not really too good. I rely more on the numbers that I crunch to generate my VAP levels.

I'm watching how Yellen, US treasury policy on market maker of its own debts.
If she wants, she can flip everyday to make profits.

I think we are about to witness the lag effect of QT and the fastest U.S. rate hikes in history.
Its coming…
With 6-9 month lag before taking effect, Junes rate hike is only taking effect around now - 6-8 more months to go.

Seems like the largest blind spot in macro analysis is the assumption that all of the monetary policies are taking price action, data prints, global financial markets, etc etc actual economics into consideration.

Gbpusd in my opinion still has to finish its up trend. Still has some way to go before we get a reversal downwards. Pat I agree with your usdjpy view.

I started a 30 USD account on Monday (I bet your "tiny, little" account will best that any day lol).
Just figured if I know what I think I may know, even a 10 or 20 or 30 USD profit would be a victory in my book by weekend.
Just the same way I would expect to handle a 3,000 USD account, I put my head down with my 30 bucks, used SLs more often, scalped the heck outta that shit and it's my 3rd day on the same account (which is a rarity for me cos I'm used to blowing whatever account i have in 24hrs or less!).
I mean, I've even tried the prop trading thing, paying 200-300 USD each time after I blow an account within hours.
Just picked the lessons here and there and just thought, 4uk it, I'll put in the little real money I have and if I'm not as foolish as I was yesterday, I should be able to work with 30 USD in an FX market where the impossible can come to life with belief, hard work, discipline, patience, humility and consistency. But I bet you know ALL this already.


PS: Oh, I almost skipped mentioning, that account is here now...
