Same chart on m15, add our good friend Fibonacci and MA200 on the angle, and we can see where price is, and plan the next move accordingly.

At it's current rate, without a retracement, the DXY will hit 98 by February. Not likely in my view.

I can see 98 by the end of this year...but not by the end of this month

I scalp intraday to build Risk equity for my longterm portfolio.
I can only take up to 10% risk expotion on my total portfolio and put it to work, So to create more risk capital I take intraday trades on a seggregated account, specific priceaction setups around certain Levels, targeting intraday Liquidity.
I don't intraday trade every day or all the time. When the setups form and align with my overall stance on the situation, and I get clean entries and exits, I take it.
I only take what the market gives me, and only then when it is willing to give me something.
My intraday trading is part of my Risk management. I don't hedge risk, so in order to build risk capital on equity I need to constantly build it to put it to work.
For reasons that should be common sense, I can not and will never show any of my longterm trades. (other peoples money)
Example: that UJ short, I am sitting on that since November and carried it over into 2023 on agreement. That's one of the currently 7 position on three assetclasses that I scale in and out of.
For this scaling I build risk money with intraday scalping.
Lets say I want to scale into my UJ position and I want to add 0.5% to that trade. This 0.5% must come from somewhere... guess who privides this: your Stops.
Liquidity. We call it Liquidity for a reason.

The reason why I keep pointing towards ICT and Tradeciety all the time is because people can learn priceaction trading there and it's the best quality content one can find for free.
It still does not make you a good trader longterm, only time (experience) can do that.
A good trader is methodical and has a sound tradingplan. And he sticks to it 100% at all times.
If you are looking for "a system", with "signals", you are lost.
Before I started on my own (and restarted with nothing after a huge fuckup), I worked as Technical Analyst.
I was a very good Analayst and a good Risk manager and a very terrible trader at that time.
I failed for so long and so bad, I now am experienced enough to know and accept reality.
