the 3min and 5min bullish hidden div caught the fall @ that prev 30min sw hi zone/38.2% fib of the total move up from 2100. Nice!...will we see a follow thru to a new current dly hi, -or- will price just range till U.s Cpi?

on h4 timeframe is bullish movement. for now i expect a little rollback to level of 1.20980. most of all this happen till end of week.

Current internal structure of 1H via 15 min chart looks like a leading diagonal with an expanded flat abc and retest at resistance becomes support which has held and moved back up.

So this is going to be a very messy move up with a 5 wave diagonal impulse

The closer price gets to that 2300 retest the more short orders will be placed by the institutions , maybe a final spike up on cpi but then the crash.

Gu is diverging at the moment it broke structure to the downside and sweep every thing. It’s going up…. It will break any resistance that comes it way.

Best opportunity in my book would be for the bulls

Best trade is if inflation is staying sticky
If headline y/y rate is 7% or higher and core is above 6% then expect:
GBPUSD selling and SP500 selling.

Meanwhile, casual scalp IN/OUT ( Waveskie Styles) to buy some herbal for weekends.

For a change I'm gonna trade Euro post CPI. Looking for the highs to get pumped on the release, into weekly & daily supply and short around 1.0800

I always get disappointed by EU cause of the lower ADR but often the big releases create huge moves, maybe todays the day

Can someone explain to me like I'm 5 years old on the cpi real quick?
How do you know if it’s low or high?
And what makes traders go Long or Short for USD?

My newbie answer..............

Consumer Price Index.
The number we get is an approx representation of % rise or fall in prices of consumer goods, i.e inflation.
We always have an 'expected' number, if the actual one comes higher than that, inflation is high, it's bad and people short, and vice versa.
