...50% of y/day's move is where the current p/back and current dly lo is. Price now challenging a prev minor 1hr sw hi zone = prev res = pot res. So, some potential (pot) resistance to get thru for the bulls.

morning price was not far off the 61.6 fib yesterday at just over 2218 ish area . That if this is a retrace from what could have been profit taking last week . If so possible full extension south is around 1400 area and the high 2800 area if it can take out the dt high .

...bulls are on a roll on the dly. Friday's bullish engulf thrust dly candle engulfed the previous 11 candle bodies, so was a significant candle on this t/f.

Today's event is the symposium on central bank independence, in Stockholm.

Not sure if there will be any discussion on monetary policy, but Fed chair's session will be on central bank's mandate. Let's see if he tries to insert any reference to "our mandate is to keep inflation down to 2%, and we're still a long way to go...." those sort of statements.

Now, other sessions, are on climate, digital currencies, and policy coordination. BOJ's Kuroda, ECB's Schnabel and BOC's Macklem will be talking climate, so I doubt anything related to QE or QT will come out. All eyes will be on Powell, as usual.

As usual, I'm still shorting on the Cable, long on Euro, yen, and net short on dollar.
