Last trade closed. It is time to see the results of these years.

The start of the year was tough, war moved the markets and i had some loses, which forced me to stop trading for a while. But December was great. I made 39% profit in December (one of the best trading months during my trading career). And i made 41% profit this year. So i can resume that the year was good.

I want to wish you a lot of luck and success in the upcoming 2023 years. Stay strong and dont give up.

Thanks everyone in this thread, let me learn a lot.
After 5 months I become a roasted-alive newbie.
This period of GU is very tough but more profitable with unbelievable wide ranges.
It's very funny when at first I thought GU would be a stable pair , moving in narrow range.
and in Aug and Sep I find it got so many floors day by day, it's an incredible skyscraper
Got to have lots of margin to keep trading safe. It's not easy to do risk management.
I'm glad finally at the year end I've built up my own PA strategy system with couple of indicators and a signal plugin.

2023 will be hopeful

Hello colleagues. I think we will see a flat for the pound/dollar pair in the first half of 2023. Most likely, the scenario with a set of positions will be repeated, as it was in 2016 and 2020. But the mood of a major market participant is clearly tuned to the northern scenario.

Aloha funny internet people!
Here's me totaly unbiased bullish continuation start for next year view on the pound.
I expect price to reach higher, balancing the immediate Volume Imbalance (yellow) around the 50% Monthly/Weekly Equilibrium and eventualy trade higher into Premium range, reaching for Buyside Liquidity around @1.280 where we see the 61.8% Monthly/Weekly Retracement in line with a Bearish Value Gap and a very small leftover Volume Imbalance waiting to be rebalanced.

Before anyone quotes me on this: Beware of Sellside Liquidity, we might reach for it before we price higher.

How so?: anything above the bullish market shift @1.150 with the bullish Value gap right above, is bullish continuation. We pulled a higher high after a structure break and we have yet to see a correction to the downside, so the overall bias is bullish, for now.

As always, bias is not set in stone and macroeconomics do silly things all the time in order to turn the world upside down.

Something for you guys to think about. In hindsight I'm trying to trace how to figure out where the next high or low will be on the chart. It doesn't matter what time frame we have. The next top or bottom is dependent on the move before. That is, where the last move ended will determine where the next move will end.
You have to account for current market volatility.

The next top or bottom is directly written into the charts!

P.S - Also! Sometimes, when there is no volatility needed, price will simply follow normal thing called "resistance" or "support". Second picture attached!

I can't tell. Daily held by EMA 20, weekly require to breach 12240 for bullish signs. GU is in range between 12000 and 12100.

I've carried a few various short trades into new year.
