...the 4hr descending channel is below but it can be drawn other ways I guess. Bulls need at least a decisive upside break of the channel top? The 'character' of the channel so far (!) has been good pullbacks followed by a new LL.

everytime I win a trade, I thought, well, I have my own edge finally, I'm gonna be rich
then I lost 5 trades in a row, I shout at screen what a stupid edge,
again and again, I've had more than 100 edge ever, Im still poor

Hi Pat,

Yes, holiday season has began, so yes, need to catch some lost trading time.
Due to bird desease there is a demand for turkeys this year.
I already had nice work Xmas party lunch last night.
I am getting ready for tomorrows traditional Lithuanian Xmas eve, where 12 vegetarian dishes (herring, fish, veggies) get prepared. Will have small traditional Xmas lunch, and celebrate boxing day with brothers family.

How about you? Going away or spending time relaxing with your close ones?

If you have an edge with say a 60% win rate for example, you will many times get consecutive losing runs of trades of 6, so you may be abandoning edges that are performing quite normally, it's just that you don't know that, because you don't know enough of what you need to know about the edge. Additionally/alternatively - you may not have had an edge at all - ie one that is proven over a very large sample size of trades in the market conditions it is suited to. Additionally/alternatively - you may never have developed the right personal trading psychology to actually profitably trade what is theoretically a profitable edge. Additionally/alternatively - you may not have optimized your risk/money management to the actual/normal performance of the edge, leaving you psychologically unable to cope with the size of drawdown you suffer.

By the way, the paragraph above encapsulates/sums-up why traders lose/never become consistently and reliably net profitable.

I am happy with the win rate and profit factor.

For obvious reasons, lot size, and no. of trades disabled.

For winning to continue, the win rate must be above 50 % as thumb rule.

If one has analyzing tool, they can do that.
