IMHO for short terms is bearish.. but if u draw a paralel trend line.. u can see that now is a good time for a dip fishing..
1.9850/60 is a barrier for the bear run. Buying at this level suggest one is banking on the barrier not broken down by the bears. Fishing at this level may get the salmon you want before the bears could catch em.

But remember, I heard the same thing about 1.9950

Remember tho that 1.9950 was bombarded few days ago before it was broken yesterday, 1.9860 level is fresh.

There are two conflicting figures in the forecasts for the USA gdp results being released today, 1 up and 1 down, how do you interpret which way things will go if the forecasts pan out to be right?
The bounce off yesterdays low during the Asian session was pathetic - 30 pips. The second push down by the Frankfurters failed, so its now waiting time for the Brits to finish their first cup of tea.

The short term down trendīs still intact, with the next real support in the 9800 area, which includes the early April highs.

trade with the 4 hour trend. I see it going down another 150 pips in the next 9 hours.

IMHO.. usually market already have a "hunch" and have a "prepared positions" which one is the rite one. Study ur charts.. and if u cant find one. Trust ur own "hunch".. or else.. stay in the sidelines..

I doubt it will go back to 98 soon. Traders are going in long cable positions again.

Damn cable missed one nice buy limit at 9864 by 4 pips.... the spread exactly . Hate when this happen... well part of the game...
I am thinkin of shorting the cable at 1.9960.... any ideas?

I guess most of us here in this forum are a bunch of newbies when it comes to forex trading. The real money-makers (expert traders) will not join a forum - and if they do join a forum, they will not post or give free advice. Would a doctor give free consultations for patients? I doubt it. I think that anyone who joins a forex forum, is looking for ways to make money, or is looking for some insight of where the market is going. The forex experrts are already making money and dont have time to join or post in a forum.
On the whole you are right Ash. But snowman has a point. There is one very successful trader here who has helped others signifcantly. There was a thread about him recently. But there are others here who are successful to a lesser extent who have helped others. And that's what makes FF such a great place to be. None of us are ever to old to learn.

But the lack of truly successful traders here can be seen by such a low number of people committing themselves to a trading competition here. That in itself if evidence enough for me that Ash is, on balance, correct. Now everyone prove me wrong and register today. BTW - I won't be registering.

I have been "live" trading since last August and I can honestly say that all my
knowledge I've learned has been from this forum. There is a wealth of experience here and not just taking signals from others but learning from their
own years of experience. Thanks to all of you I am up over 900 pips this month so far and I'm still on my "first" live account since last year and opening another tomorrow.....
