I've started reading Al Brooks book on trend trading and in Chapter 4 he said something that I thought I'd share:

It appears that there is downward push happening with little volume. Typically for a BIG move you need it to go up first and then get pushed down for THE big move, or at least from what I have seen.

GU trying to move in the opposite direction to USDX doesn't make sense! It suggests a massive move on the part of the Pound with no news!

Well Yes you can say for a Big Move down it needs Some InCash Or Orders grabbed But its been doing that for a while for a few days before so may have remainder left to Push Down

The UJ is also behaving in an unusual manner (Both Yen and USDX moving in the 'same' direction), except that it does this more than the GU!

I'm currently hedging. Have a buy with a TP above the last 4hr bullish candle just below 1.22 and a sell with a TP just below the low of the same candle at 1.2132.

Now watch it take both SL

IG Markets currently has just under 60% of its clients long on GU and EU with 68% long on the DXY.
Another curiosity. Haven't figured out who is short!
