Correction maybe.. stop hunt too. Also as mentioned earlier there may not be a proper BoE rates announcement. (Trading the rumour)

Gap Fill at 1.2290's area is one reason. Big Order Block change days ago. Big boys started here to move market up. Most times they take it down to that level again.

Waoo it Actually hit 1.2300 mostly because of USD Index picked up Heat.
But still we got BOE to make a Move.
It could test 1.2380-1.2390 that is where I will think of Selling if price holder in 15m and 30m candle.
Then again 1.2260 this time.
Honestly I hope it to get to 1.24 again for me to sell.
But looking at USD index as I mention yesterday 103.70 above on 1H close was needed it didnt today it did so 104.40 is possible.
That will mean 1.2260 or lower for Pound IF BOE didnt gave us Surprise.

... 3 and 5min bearish hidden div has developed. Could develop further on a deeper pullback...5min may stay valid whilst price below 2384. Fibs and potential sbr above.

...will be looking for a good strong reaction to Boe/Mpc later - will see - may not get it on this one? But if it is, these are my preferred lower t/f plays (5min and below, generally on 1min triggers. ) On really good strong reactions to data etc you can get all 3, or at least 2 of the 3.

1. Get involved with any momentum (spreads allowing.)
2. Buy the 1st lo, or sell the 1st hi
3. Sell the 1st p/back / buy the 1st p/back respectively re 2. above.

...it was a great 30min whole pinbar candle clsoing outide the 20bol ...5 and 15min v. o/s too at that lo @ the 4 fib cluster/4hr pot rbs.....a nice play. 1hr closed too most of it outside the 20bol which is why I favor further upside until price is back in the 1hr 20 bol. It's why i didn't act on the lower t/f bearish hidden div (yet?) at that pot sbr on 1hr. EDIT: Price moved as I was writing this.

FURTHER EDIT: Re above, you can see how 1hr closed re it's 20bol on 1hr and now how it has come back inside. This is a common phenomenon when price veers well outside the 20bol, on any t/f, and has a hi-probability of 'unwinding' back inside it.

While I Shorted CHF/JPY before the rate hike at 147.140, the price returned up unfortunately.
Hope Euro and Pound will continue to depreciate today, as well as NZD.

Client Sentiment wise, traders are not as bullish on USD as they were yesterday.

Took profit on my long. Scalping a possible retest of 12300 if I find a good entry point

Buy setup formed on M15.
Now, I wait for a serial entry on lower TF.

The level to watch for entry is 1.230676.

... Uk inflation although eased a bit on Cpi measure remains stubbornly hi, with Rpi actually rising re data earlier this week. Boe/Mpc don't want to over-cook it re too much 'tightening,' (it's an almost impossible balancing act to get right re taming inflation -vs- starting/making a recession worse,) so only an outside chance of +0.75% again, will probably be +0.5%. We'll see. As for market reaction - just follow price, and if unsure - stay out! 'Flat' is a position too!
