Essentially since the market opened yesterday, USDX has been rising, GU and EU falling.
Is this because of the US rate decision, the expectation of the GU/EU rate decisions or yesterdays market reaction in front of and behind the US rate decision?

As I have said many times, when a retracement occurs on a rather big TF such as the Weekly, there will be many opportunities to day trade the direction of the retracement, despite the higher TF's controlling direction. If you were looking at small TFs such as M15 and trying to trade retracements of that, then you have to scale down. And this becomes for most people high-stress scalping.

Looking at GU for today, I am thinking of buying during the London session. I don't trust the bear's move since Daily TF is saying something else.

Hey Elbert, I noticed the DT on a couple of TF. However, I feel like MM might want to retest the DT again or even break through it since a lot of us may have sold into it.

That being said, I have no idea if I will get my buy signal today or not.
It would be interesting to see how things go.
