DislikedTwo things have to happen before I trade CPI on actual release: 1. Bailey has to get the price to the end of Resistance Zone above 1.23 2. On CPI Release price has to spike up far enough to catch SL's and Buy Stop orders If these 2 things become a reality, I'll risk and go Short on spike. Is it going to be the spike or not noone knows, but I'm willing to take the risk if and only if Bailey gets the price above 1.23 before CPI release actually takes place. Another way to trade is to wait out CPI release and let H4 candle actually totally confirms...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hello Mr WolfI thought at the beginning of this session that Mr Market was unlikely to offer me a trade today, and I still think that. I have seen some of these wild spikes up and down on some news releases, so if I ever get the chance (and I will one day) I would have to wait it out. I'm too much of a scaredy cat to try and catch those spikes. If you do it, I hope you win!!

Disliked{quote} The actual CPI data will probably be very benign, the real challenge is how will the MM's move the price of GU once the data is released! These moves don't always make sense and to some degree they reflect retail sentiment as well.Ignored
Disliked{quote} This is crazy surely, unless I'm missing something, eg maybe you have a fundie analysis bias? If price goes up one should make an effort to get a good long entry. I never know why traders pre-assume anything, particularly ahead of a data release, just trade what we see is the best course of action whatever it is.Ignored
