Good comment. I trade intraday but if you stay glued to the screen for more than 20 mins you start to 'hunt' for trades, take boredom trades, etc... the way to counter this if you trade strictly intraday is to place alerts near where you know the trades will be. I do all my planning the night before and in the morning from 5am then just place alerts and go about my day and make sure i'm near a computer when the alert sounds.

When I started trading I'd literally just stare at the screen all day looking for trades. It doesn't work. Your mind wanders and you do stupid things. Anyone who trades intraday, please take heed.

RE: indicators. the only one I use is FVG by nephew_sam on Tradingview, and the pivot indicator. That's all I need personally.

This is true, I was just saying it in a more concise way.

I heard in some podcast they did MRI scans on the brains of people who are stressed and in 'fight or flight' mode. The logical part of your brain literally shuts down-- so if you're stressed in any way, its nearly impossible to trade effectively

thanks, didnt know that. I though since its a fractal so the ruls are the same as the regular patterns.

shaven has 2 meanings and of course that could be a bearish close on a pivot
why so many shaven is because thats when new trades are initiated on that TF
So on the monthly I read new monthly buyers enter the market on the 1st, thats a wall of buyers
the weekly is still bullish so far

I think it is important that almost every1 does this, I guess this is how we build market memory (we remember scenario's and the potential outcomes) and can potential enter trades which have a high probability based on this feeling of having some bias, which can give quick execution

I have seen one thing thou, if the market is is a trend longer term, do not try and catch the top. The market will take a long time to change direction, I guess the fundamentals need to be in sink with the technicals in order for the change to actually happen.

1.19 is now looking less likely, support found at 1.2105 being 240 pips retracement from 1.2344, just like that fall from 1.2155 to 1.1900 being 255 pips retracement also.

Prepare for 1.2460 since price is looking likely to close today at 1.22 area.

Whale, I have a hardcover version but I think I saw on the net pdf flies. I can be mistaken.

I just did a quick check of some research articles. These studies typically use at least 100 mg theanine per dose and a theanine:caffeine ratio of about 2:1. In typical consumer black tea, 200 mL, there is about 25mg theanine and 50 mg caffeine, the opposite ratio used in the studies, and significantly lower concentrations.

This is cool. I always take note of Coreg's posts. I think he's the only probationer of Elliot wave and Fibonacci combined that's made it work for trading intraday

I think a lot of the trading methods out there work if you practice them enough and make them work for you. They all have flaws, none of them work perfectly, you just have to practice them for years to make them work for you profitably.
