Pretty annoying. I had this trade mapped out on my chat, placed them on the Frankfurt open price but they got closed out for some reason

I often TURN OFF display of the price bars and make my analysis looking ONLY at the indicators. And technically, of course the indicators themselves do not "make you win". But they ARE a tool that can be used to identify some "pattern" that has been demonstrated to signal where/when an entry can be made that has a high probability of closing by hitting the TP rather than by hitting the SL.

Quite frankly, the issue around indicators vs naked trading have become stale since the invention of retail trading. Indicators merely follow price and not the other way around. The benefit of indicators are that they give you an alert to a situation according to your settings without having to sit glued in front of your trade station. So what now when you get an alert? well I will give you a prime example, once I have received my indicator alert. I see two long bullish one hour candle wicks off my daily pivot. Simple dimple Folks. We are all different traders here and I cannot sit glued at my computer because it will tire me. I'd rather come back with a fresh mind and make an informed decision.

In forex every time a Big truck turns right, another even bigger one is going to take Left. Thats' what happens in forex market. If you follow the price, it will get you to where it is going.

everyone one has his own use of the tools. If some works with you... Its fine for you because you understand the in your own way.

I have just one opinion. If indicators are right, then to code and get EA work is not a difficult task. But every EA fails in the longer run. why? because they see the back view mirror and result is Head On Collision, No air bags...
