{quote} Notion: Price is fractal how i would see it assuming this is not a daily chart but a 1 Minute chart, once buy side is taken my target would be sell side definitely. Edit: assume these line separators are hourly demarcation of intraday on 1 minute chart do correct me if i miss the things you want to be noticed. that's not how it always works it has to be backed by the fundamentals which were supportive to bullish dollars and it pans out. best regards bilal {image}

Okay
You say price is fractal, BUT why not 1.001M TF or 1.1M TF It's just a container that charting softwares offer.
Daily chart is OK. Why? Because all sessions ends, and starts from the beginning.
If you are one session-oriented, there are a lot of sessions in the world. Just my thoughts

Trading maximum 2(½) sessions a day from timezone
Asia, (asia box close to franky open sometimes), then London (to London box close)
NY open to close is merely something I can smile about the next morning.

(all levels available pre-sessions)

{quote} Mine is just simply based on % of ADR from the London Open ps We have to make an ADR everyday the hard part is what {image}

I have the ADR and the AWR but unless the figure coincides with a pre-drawn price level based on Mkt Structure, I tend to ignore it.

Having a broader view to guage what the recent volatility has been like, now that is useful.

Then we can have a watchlist of pairs that have good volatilty and low margin requirement which gives us a better reward vs capital invested ratio.

More bang for your buck.

Daily is the chart where i always pick the bias, while keeping myself flexible to scale to the lowest available time frame for trading to trade at the edge i.e., 1 to 5 min are good for me.

Yes dear price is fractal even at 1.1min. TF or even 15 seconds chart say for example it does the same thing there.

Once the day is over the next day is welcoming with its different sessions and manipulation are we ready?

Yes we are ready

Happy weekend

What I have learnt fron FF is that you can't change how someone thinks
PeterCaleb said it in a perfect way "belief system". That's what you're believing in.

So I'm not trying to convinceYes, price is fractal

Dear Ihlas

it is always fine to have a difference of opinion. It doesn't mean to be disrespectful, to mock each other, or to be hostile. That's the beauty of life

Have a good day

Belief?
Menticide is rife it would seem. People believe the weirdest of stuff these days. What used to be weather is now political.

Too much belief can be detrimental. Some belief is ok? What about intention?

Hi All,

A simple trade to start on Monday. Just followed Bluesteele regarding the London Box. Was pretty sure that the Frankfurt Low was not going to be Days/ London Low. Normally i would get out of the trade at RNs (166500 in this case) but was confident that price will go atleast, down to Frankfurt Low. 200Ema was another confluence and the momentum is still downwards. Trade Well All.

@bluesteele

EUR/USD Not traded by me.
Put in Bluesteeles hour line from UK Open ( 8am) and drew supports etc pre open.
Notice gap pre open to far left on higher time frame chart.
Price seems to have dipped below London Open and came back above it - Would that be sufficient to trigger a Long ?
Red Line above prev. Low is the top of the gap on 5 minute chart and seemed ideal for another long

Any comments guys?

One thing many fail to take into account. That is, you do NOT need to know everything about technical analysis or the fundies. Have a plan and method that works for you and stick to it.

I say this because I just violated my plan and took a loss. Where if I had not had my head stuck in the dark, I would not have.

Alot to be said to sticking to one setup(variations inc) one TF....and one or two pairs..and patience waiting for setups

I think Whitesta sticks to the GJ GU on 1m ?? But yes I think hes focusing in on what he understands..keeping it relatively
simple and repetitive.... so great to see !

Yes i mostly stick to 2 or 3 pairs and look for similar setups. I am extremely impressed with your London Box. If i am not sure about a certain setup around 30 minutes into Frankfurt session then i just wait for atleast 30 minutes into London session. Mostly the picture is clear then unless its going to be a ranging day. Yes you are correct again that i tend to mostly look at 1 or 2 types of set ups. Again following your advice of making sure that RNs and Time are the main 2 factors for entries. The exit is normally RN, DOL, PDHs and Ls whichever comes first. The London box has given me the chance to hold onto trades for a bit more profit as long as i am able to locate the Hs and Ls. I am not a fulltime trader and trade very small but i have learnt everything from this thread and also from Stacey Burke videos. The other important factor is that due to work commitments i only trade Frankfurt and early London session. I look at 2 or 3 pairs and after 1 successful trade i am done for the day. I try to look at the best possible setups. I have learnt that there is atleast 1 decent trade every session. I still see alot of them after it has happened. I am far away from the fulltime traders here but happy that we are learning from them and appreciate their input on this thread. We learn everyday.

Trade Well All.
