Weekend gap is very minimal this weekend. Could be a combination of US holidays on Thursday and a quiet Friday.

GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame made a bullish retest of the 1.20080/1.22480 horizontal resistance zone (purple) and turned sideways within it. Recent technical prints favour further northward move.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

China is working hard to devalue their currency so that they can resume exports and growth. They are also selling dollars. I believe that the Covid news is connected more to this then actual cases. Most countries aren't seeing higher Covid cases they are seeing more deaths from the vaccines!

What??? Their lockdowns make exports impossible...production is down, what would they export? They couldn't care less about the rest of the world, they wouldn't mind to see it burn. And all countries are seing higher covid cases, they just don't care, people aren't scared, it doesn't work anymore.

Exactly this. Biden said its a pandemic of the unvaccinated at the beginning of lockdowns. This next round of lockdowns will be a pandemic of the vaccinated. This was the biggest crime in human history.
