Interesting to read Wolf and others' posts re leaving ff and presumably quiting trading. Re Wolf, of course I too wish him luck and success in the future and am sorry to see him go. I enjoyed his posts and energy, and he bought another dimension to the thread. I am curious though, is he quiting trading or just this forum/spending so much time on the internet?
When you start trading it is easy to get somewhat 'addicted' to it. In a sense you have to put the screentime in in order to learn and reach your goal and your life seems to get out of balance.
Re ff you have to ask yourself whether time spent here and in this thread helps with your trading or detracts from it?
I mentioned balance above and the work/life balance is important. Personally I mostly trade for 5 hours a day or less and do mostly stick to this. I also take approx 40% of the year on hols and dont even look at an electronic device in this time. Easy to do this as I don't leave any positions running, being a daytrader only.
At what ever stage of your trading journey you are at, I hope you find a 'balanced' way of doing it that avoids burnout and exhaustion.
