The 'market' doesn't react to 'your trades' in a demo account that same way it does to a live account. In a live account the market will react differently. Just my 2 cents worth!

So is the answer to do exactly that on a live account too? Enter the trade, set the SL and do drink coffee or turn off the charts for at least the next hour?.....and don't cheat!

Yes you are right... trading on Demo and Real account is huge difference.. When you trade on real account you do not move at all from screen because money is on d line... with demo you do not have any fear .. and trading is more psychological than trading setup..... people stay in trade when they are in loss and get out quickly in profits.... its very hard to control emotions in real trading....

Today is a difficult day for me Yesterday, I expected a return to the 1.13700-1.1400 range, which did not happen & on the other hand, I see that the new Low created has no divergence and no reason to rise yet. In the time of 4H, the Low of 1.10590 has not been hit yet. Maybe I will sell it. Maybe I should watch it today. What do you think?

I am trying to trade like that. When I get confirmation I go, put SL and bye bye.. I tried to endure price manipulation many times and failed miserably many times haha. I don't need that stress. I would enter trade, then watch 15M chart, the doubt starts to infiltrate, then I start watching at 5M chart and before you know it I'm out of the trade. What happens next? In the MAJORITY of times of course, I talked myself out of great trade and many pips I could have taken had I not intervened. Always the same story.. that's why I started working on myself now more.

That used to happen to me all the time, and sometimes it still does. I find that if I see a setup that I like on (say) M15, I check M30 to see if the same setup is trying to form. If it is, I go to M5 chart and wait for the setup to be there also. When all 3 timeframes say the same thing, in every way, then I will enter on the M5. Mostly this gives a good entry with not much drawdown. But I still fall into the anxiety trap every now and then!

short term (<1 hr) wise there is retracement against USD.

however, mid term (>4 hr and above) i feel it is still bearish.

bias bear for me. i will look for shorts instead of longs.

What you wrote is absolutely correct. The difference between real & demo is sometimes like the difference between sky & earth. Emotions destroy the same great demo strategy in real account
There are many good & kind & successful people here who can learn from them like Georginson
that whenever he has an incorrect trade, there is sure to be someone who writes a mocking message to him, but he still exists and spreads his knowledge out of kindness. Or people like Pat Chiko & Coreg2004
But instead of using the knowledge of others to reduce their own mistakes & learn from the feelings of successful traders, they just mock & that's it
