Well, most of the time Fed confirms its hawkishness, and others confirm their tentativeness, and even when raising interest rates talk about need to look at the wider economy. I actually remember at least one instance in the last few months USD fell after Fed when markets decided that Fed starts to shift into "data-driven" mode.

Market structure, support and resistance zone, S&R FliP, and Liquidity zone. and Volume Price Analysis at these zone with Fundamentals supports the direction.

I think needn't any patterns here, just open M30, and simply highlight LL, HL trend down easy... Where it will be broken, ofc question, nobody know exactly, catching knives dangerous deals... I think next everyone use their own strategy of trading

DmShka, rest assured that I know Dow's theory. I posted it a few times here urging people to give a chance to guide them in analyzing the market structure. Pattern trading helps me pinpoint the potential reversal zone if they hold.

The reason why I asked about FOMC is because this offer will end (200% bonus..) just before Fed's rate hike decision.

Honestly, I don't understand anything of this..

I said interesting as if I knew what on Earth this is all about.. hahahahahahah

It seems it was terrible, not good..

One should really avoid this pro-Fed news reporter opinions and go over the reports by oneself..

GBP/USD price very close to main S 1.144. Hahahah, how about a spike down to eliminate buyers SL's that have boarded on the Support yesterday?
Hmm..

I'll Buy any dip Fed causes.. if it goes up I don't care..
Where is Pat now when I need him.. he would most likely know where SL's reside..

Took 4.5 days off travelling. Back just in time for FOMC.

Added two more long trades on the Cable @ 1.1487 and 1.1460. I'll add more if it dips down to 1.1400 during FOMC presser. Let's see what Jay Powell has in store for us. I liked him more when he's giving ambiguous statement, hawkish AND dovish, enough to drive the market up the wall.

Also added two short trades on the USD/JPY pair, at 148.18 and 148.74. Also added another two long trades on the Euro and the Swissy. That was... Me saying to myself... let's not trade too much here, since me being a nooooob.

A tight SL is usually triggered on a Fed day, even if GU does go up (I don't think it will though).
