Yaaaaay, I got to finish at a more or less normal time today! I went into work on Satuday to help re-organise the rosters, and it went well. Hello friends, I hope that you all had a good weekend of fun and laughter 
I tried to work out a spreadsheet that not only is just to see where my could be at any point in the future that I choose, but also to have input of the starting balance and then compounding the lots size based on the account balance. I also wanted to be able to input the exact number of pips gained at the end of the day, or lost and several other things. I think that I just tried to make it too complicated for myself. What I wanted is easily possible, but I'm not that good at Excel. I am better with database, so I made one with the following perimeters.
1. Starting balance
2. Lot size according to balance. (So for example, if the starting balance is $100, then the lot size will be 0.01. When the balance gets to $200, then the lot size will be 0.02 etc. When the balance gets to $1,000, lot size will be 0.10. When it gets to $1500, lot size will be 0.15. At $10,000, lot size will be 1.00.
3. Risk %age will vary slightly but it will be around 1.75% of the account per trade
4. Weekends are removed from the database, but public holidays remain.
5. A loss entered will of course affect the long term total, but lot sizes will drop to match account balance.
6. Dollar value of each instrument traded will vary, I can not do much about that.
7. The daily goal is 20 pips per day. More or less pips gained will affect the grand total.
So based on this database, if I were to start with a balance of $450 (I have a second account with that much in it!), the initial lot size will be 0.04 and 20 pips will be about $8.00 per 20 pips, which will increase the account balance to $458. It will keep increasing at $8.00 per 20 pips until I get to $500 account balance. Then lot size will be 0.05 and value of 20 pips goes up to $10.00.
Not including the inevitable losses, and not including public holidays, but INCLUDING weekends, in 12 months the account balance would grow from $450 to $67,422.00!! Isn't that amazing...based on 20 pips per day? Even if in reality it only came to half that total, $33,000.00 in 12 months is a great return. Even one quarter $16,500 is amazing. No where else will that sort of return on $450.00 be possible.
So, for the rest of this year, I will try to get at least 20 pips per day, just to see how I go. If it goes well, I will have to see if I can get a trade copier to copy my entry from my main account to my little account and I will create a Trade Explorer so we can all see where this adventure leads to.
ps, I know someone who could make this spreadsheet for me, but she is on another shift at work. When I see her I'll ask if she could help me.
