Wave 1 was an ABC
Wave 2 a zigzag most commmon but not a "must have".

The red line above the highs shows the clear lower top rather than a mere double top that the indicator in another screen capture showed. Therefore, the subsequent down swing is either just another pullback that will be followed by an up continuation, or it is the start of a down trend on this TF. If you accept the simplest definition of a down trend as a down swing, a rally that retraces less than 100 % of the down swing, then a continuation down swing, the behavior...
An IMT trader asked about why I marked the swings that way, because he thought they should be as below.

Because I was evaluating multiple TFs, they already showed me that I needed to use the swing markings as in the above image. Looking ONLY at the 5m TF, the lower image has the proper swing markings.

Note in the image below that the swing markings on the left give confirmation that on THIS TF, the up move reversed and is in a down trend. Then the subsequent upswing followed by a higher low confirms a reversal back to an up trend. But note the lower high on the next up swing ...

Up trend? Down trend? No trend? Random? This exemplifies some of the difficulties one encounters when attempting to use information from only a single TF to make trading decisions. Contrary to what may at first seem logical, one is likely to have more confusion examining a single TF than examining multiple TFs.
