Hi All, first post in the forum and trying to learn to get out of my long term break even loop.

So I shorted this morning after the release of the 1.16 level (Target 1.15) but I'm getting a bit confused on whether line 1 on my chart is also a supply level and I should leave the trade running until line 2 (should it reach line 1 that is) or whether line 1 has a higher probability of a bounce for demand.

How do you work these things out

Humble thanks for any advice.

With housing market suffering we can also see a less than consensus Advance GDP even tho market expectation is >consensus.

Now that I think about it for a little bit, GDP forecast makes no sense what so ever. Even Powell said they are expecting lower growth and Fed officials confirmed. Why would they forecast it so optimisticly then?

I know one thing. If we see - before the number then USD should drop hard. Then Pound is as good as done at 1.20 next Week.

Considering entries, they are much "easier" than where to take the profit or put SL, especially taking profit. It all depends. Sometimes your intuition will be right and you'll take profit right before the price goes the other way, other times you'll miss 50 more pips or even more. I don't think anyone knows with certainty where to take profit.
There is no indicator or anything that good to tell you that unfortunately in my opinion.

But it can rise from here ,
Even if it for a little retracement
I managed to get some dollars to deposit and take it
