The BOJ has thrown $50b at USDJPY - $20b in Sept, over $30bn Friday, and possibly more overnight.
That’s $50bn of dollar liquidity sucked out of the system as Japan sells their US Treasuries for USD cash to fund JPY buying.
Ironically this is making USD liquidity shortage worse.........

In Japan they call it KAMIKAZE............
