My first trade with MADdash was +16 pips, I believe I got a pretty late entry here, but I am just beginning to learn and have a lot of trades in this thread to study!

Hi all! Can anyone help me with advice? I installed the panel, but as indicated in the photo, I have no signals, although I selected pairs. The GBP is a strong pair, and the CHF is weak. Therefore, there should be a signal to buy a pair of GBPCHF? Thx!

{quote} ah, i get your point hammertop, thanks alot. small losses are common in this strategy, the good ones will overcome the small losses. one last question, if your profit is 10 pips or more, how many pips you will trail your profits?

Hi mate. Sorry for late reply but I seldom read FF nowadays (just for fun). I personally don't use a number of pips cast in stone. Bear in mind I trade M1, so, too close will wipe me out far too often. It's just a visual thing and a feeling by looking at charts. If I see momentum holding up or increasing I stay closer, if not I tend to give it more wiggle room. Once the stop has been moved closer than the original position, whether still negative or positive, there is no wrong exit anymore. We can get pissed off if taken out too soon, yes: that's just human nature, but the next trade is just around the corner.

About trade management I'd like to show a sequence of a trade I just closed. Easy to show only winners but I think that losers can teach us more than the former at times. Beside being right or wrong to open it where I did, Pic 1 shows the entry. In pic 2 I moved the SL a few pips closer. But Pic 3 is even more important IMHO: price started to move against me hinting that the trade could be wrong so I moved the stop closer. Pic 4 shows my manual exit with a loss, much smaller that the original one. No more reason to stay in the trade at that point as the NOW TREND was not supported anymore. Preserving the capital is priority: my tally for the day is still positive money-wise.

...and another one. SL moved to b/e at +9 pips then price cruelly and quickly reversed and took my stop. Capital was preserved. Next one around the corner...

Way to go, mate! After all what we need to succeed, as George repeated many times, is only a little edge, which is momentum on our side, but the most important role is played by trade managemeent. The sooner we get that the sooner we'll start banking those pips. I'll say it again: it really took me ages to stick it in my mind, and still at times I have to fight my bad alter ego, but I win the battle most of the times now.

Good morning {image} {image} The MADdash gives you a bird's eye view of what each currency group is doing, and you can either sit there second guessing the market or check charts for possible trades. Shalom and good trading to all

Hi Mezo,

Please search through the thread for MA Ribbon Filled, as that's the name of the indicator. You should find my settings in your search. I use MA of high and low of say 200 and MA of high and low of 35/37. You can use EMA or LWA as it don't matter.

Cheers and have a good week-end.

Shalom

Hola Merka,

My trading is evolving and is a work in progress. I'm trying to improve everyday, and yes the MADDY still works great but I now trade with an EA and no manual trading for me again.

Some EA trades from November 21 & 22

I noticed that the dashboard needs to confirm the main direction by itself, rather than waiting for it to become stronger or weaker. I use 1-hour fibo expansion to confirm the current direction, pay attention to the callback of the dashboard in 1 minute and 5 minutes, use fixed profit and loss stop, and track it. The admission mode is 919. I hope it will be helpful to you. You need to pay attention to the intraday range

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way the bumblebee should fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground but the bee does not know the law of physics and just keeps flying. We must think outside the box and be creative with our trading and refuse to do what everyone is doing. Cheers folks

It is perfectly engineered for it's own particular mode of flight. Assumption about size of wings to body are inaccurate
