I can't decide whether or not this is Good or Bad for the GBP.

With Lizz Truss gone, It is better everyone (public 90%) wants her gone in the UK, however how will the world react?

This is more about markets, and not much the UK people's sentiment. So many ministers in a short time can't be seen as good, especially when the guys from the same party that choose the last 2 will choose the next one. I think anyway. If this thing doesn't come down godamnit

Short term how can it be good when you see a government changing staff every week

you know something is not working well

On the mid/long term it coud be good making all these changing, until it works or not

My opinion is the financial world will wait who will be the next leader.
If someone with good career record who will know what he is doin, it is bullish for GBP.
If someone with deadass record, who had a record for making stable thing go to , then bad gor GBP.
But what i'm expecting and imo most financial firms is what the new leader will do this time?
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

Even if it (Truss gone) is good for the GBP, gains would be limited as we are awaiting OBR report 31st October 2022.

One way to look at it that anyone else, will be better than Truss.
Hunt will probably stay as Chancellor.
