This is as I have said before: A rally on a bigger TF that would be a counter-trend BUY in a DOWN TREND trend can be a BUY continuation in an UP TREND on the proper smaller TF.

My ATR indicator shows that you could expect to bank at least 10 pips on that swing.

If your account is big enough to handle anticipated big drawdown, you could have kept your short trades while H1 and maybe H2 do the rally. So you would likely be underwater at least overnight.

Unless, of course, the smaller TFs don't co-operate and fall back before the rally can reach H1.

No. I don't use the abysmal MetaQuotes platform for my charting analysis. I use custom TFs on a better platform. But I do start my top-down analysis with at least the 1 Month TF, and step down the TFs from there, all the way to the 1 minute TF. But really, with a multi-TF indicator on my charts, I can skip over looking at several TFs.

If the sell gave more pips down, I would have stayed, however the sell was too weak in my opinion for this particular pair. Of course you helped me to look more objectively at the sell.

H4 did confirm sell, but this Daily chart is what I'm worried about.. Daily chart still suggests this is buy. It just touched gray line and retracted up, like it bounced off of gray line up, 1.122 which a lot of traders were mentioning here today could be a strong Support. It didn't break the gray line (Support).

Oh.. yeah yeah yeah. You mentioned some custom TF's already which we don't have on MT4 yeah..
I'm satisfied with what I have. I'm also not good at programming so.. and I don't even know which TF is good and don't have time for finding out.
