I follow the leader using lagging indicators, so no need to try guess that a top/bottom/swing whatever has completed and try to get in as close as possible on that TF. Instead, I purposely wait for a confirmation of the event, and then simply look at smaller TFs for their retracement to that new swing, and then make entries on trend continuation swing.
