However, even if the signals are to go long, they could have as easily been wrong also, since the banks can do whatever they want.
You're right though, of course. I do follow my system and should, however these are a couple of those occasions (Fed, BoE, NFP..) that even if I get some signal I wouldn't follow it through.

Thanks for the advice about fundamentals, it stays. Though every rule has an exception..
