Cable is in a downtrend,on h4,on daily and on monthly timeframes.Two days ago price broke the upward channel on h4,returned retested the broke of the channel.and now is going down.On the other hand on daily time frame you can see a bearish hidden divergence which is confirming the continuation of the downtrend.

I guess they are in a hurry to test resistance one more time before the drop. In vain..

There are no roads left that lead the Pound to the rescue in my opinion. Fed will keep raising rates and others will start to fall behind pretty far..

I think the price really wants to go higher. We had bad news (BOE, PPI), but they failed to move GU lower compared to yesterday. Same goes for stocks. This is bullish.

Now do I believe that this bullish direction is long-term? I don't. I expect a move down either with FOMC minutes, or with CPI, or both. My gut feeling tells me that the market will move the prices up more until CPI after which all gains will be lost, and more.

Actually a great clue will occur today at 1.00 pm est with the 10 year bond auction. Let's see what demand is and how that effects rates for USD. Personally I think that has more potential to move market than the already known FOMC minutes.
