Taken 2 Losses today trying to short around the 1.097x level - 60 pips total.

My question to everyone - how do you deal with your own losses and move on through the rest of the day?

I am an office-based worker so can simply 'do my actual job' to take the persistent thought away and prevent a spiral of bad decisions and losses.

My cable analysis at the moment is pointing to the downside, potentially in the NY session...

Ok, BOE intervention is incoming soon, bonds jumped to 5.006% now, almost the level when they intervened last time... I wonder who plays against the BOE. Must be people with very deep pockets.

I think GBP is strengthen because someone has to pile up GBP's for the buying in bonds/yields. That's why GBP gets weirdly stronger. I think I don't need to mention that this is not good for market stability because if yields are going down a flood of GBP's will come on the market (GBP down then).

I'm quite excited. The ZIG ZAG moves coming from the positioning in the bonds markets, I'm sure.

End of scalping.
Seller are helping this trade to its target. Helping to fuel the buyer by giving liquidity.
MO are the same, get more people trapped to fill their order.
There was a shakeout to get the remaining long positions liquidated.
Now that the little guys out, the market can go back up.
And most of the little guys are now short.

The charts are presenting trapping signal both ways and the intermarket relationships are tearing, pointing to a realignment of changing ground , probably on a major scale.

Be prepared about the time scale that this will be occuring , probably in tandem with the occurance on the USA developments.
We are entering exceptional times, and exceptional and conservative strategies should stand well.

However for nimble dancers , this provides great opportunities to scalp the congestion.
Just be mindful of the major trend and the levels of rescues not be too aggressive.

Trade Well and stay safe for FOMC.
