I think NY did a liquidity run and now when it’s fuelled up it could move higher. Of course, I could be wrong, but it is how I see the market at this point.

BOE PURCHASED £1.363 BLN OF GILTS IN BUYING OPERATION.
THEY REJECT £47.6 MLN IN DAILY LONG-DATED CONVENTIONAL GILT PURCHASE OPERATION.
What does this mean...?
And still the general media and population have no real idea.
They thought they Fix is in.
UK Govt is buying its own inflated debt with inflated debt.. what could possibly go wrong ?
What will happen to Interest Rate ?.
Is this QE ?.
Problem must be way worse than we’re being told.
With this new intrvention, The BOE has created even more inflation by intervene in the bond market to prevent inflation from forcing long-term interest rates higher.
Chances are this policy is doomed to failure, as the more inflation the BoE creates the more long-term bond yields must rise to compensate.

I was FOMO earlier as The BOE announce buying back Gilt. Hit the button after saw Reuters Service flash ..... lol
They basically printed 65 billions to stop the collapse for a week. Brilliant.
Ten day ago the BOE had to panic buy British 30-year bonds .
If they didn't, British pensions were rekt.
I was riding that too.
But looking at 30 year Gilt yields which is now are going vertical again after the BoE mentioned bringing "an orderly end to their purchase scheme" What will happen next....I say good luck o BOE.

Latest *BOE SAYS IT WILL WIDEN SCOPE OF DAILY GILT PURCHASE OPERATIONS
Now includes index-linked gilts (the market that broke yesterday).
Challenge is the BoE are just putting out fires whilst the fiscal house is still burning down.
Short-term fixes to a bigger problem.
This is tough gig for GBP
