Ordinarily price should take out the equal highs on the H1 before going bearish but what i saw was a rally above the open price which looks like a stop hunt too.
Maybe the holiday is contributing to the unusual behavior.. Still bearish though..

GBPUSD ranging today on this bank holiday in US and Canada.
Price could rise to 1.111 or as high as 1.1175.
Then drop to 1.108 or as far as 1.104.
I'm waiting for a Sell entry.
Just my 2 cents.

Nothing will happen before Fed. USD/JPY will keep hovering around 145.. price on USD/JPY has been ranging now for 15 days straight and don't expect it to stop until CPI on Thursday.

It change a bit as price moves and volatility differ.

I use fluid Fibo levels to determine where SL should be put at. 15M, 30M and Hourly seem to do best. SL isn't big and that's good.
Strong buy or sell get retracements to 38.2, okay buy and sell at 50% and weaker ones at 61.8%. Above that is very possibly a reversal.

With the mini budget they've removed the highest 45% income tax bracket. Couple this with areas being designated as enterprise zones around the country and you have the potential of high earners + big business moving from the mess that is Europe to the UK. Despite all the dark news about inflation, fuel shortages and so on due to the war, the UK really has very little exposure to Russian imports of any kind. The biggest imports from Russia before the war were precious metals and stones. Not sure about other cities but in mine business are opening instead of closing down.

Ultimately I believe that we have very little in the way of reliable information to connect the dots in a meaningful picture that translates in market actions. That is why I just don't bother with such analysis and follow the trend.

Fluid Fibo is amazing. Rigid Fibo works sometimes, sometimes not. With fluid Fibo you are able to sniper entries and also helps with SL. That's why I was able to sniper entries last week on GBP/USD. Great thing! Forex is a living thing. That's why you need tools that are constantly updating to mirror the price. Rigid levels while can be helpful aren't THAT accurate.

Cable... i lied. i traded 2 shorts off the 08-00 to 08-15 uk open bar.
Just played off the retrace for a couple of [points each time. i am definitely finished now.
#It look like the market maker was killing shorts then longs before the proper move.

This how I analysis to entry the position. When daily candlestick closed as bearish candle on 5th October. I assumed it must be starting of the rally in DT.

I'm using fibo retracement to spot possible LH on small TF. I open small position around 1.1350 ish with tighten SL. I spot swing low around 1.1333 ish on 15 minutes chart. Price must break this swing low to change the trend. I put some sell stop position below that. So it will be making HL on 1h/4h chart. Multiple TF analysis but actually it connected to other TF. Big wave start from small wave imo.

That line orange something is Fibonacci expansion future price 61.8%, 1.618% & 2.618%. I'll watching those level. I'll exit manually/take partial if there is any swing high with two consecutive high on 4h chart if price not touch the TP.
