There isn't much to be said here yet IN MY OPINION, Powell made it very clear what their goal is and this speculations about Fed pivot is just pure nonsense at the moment.
Not even close to it..
However, I have to say.. although I strongly believe even mentioning Fed pivot is ridiculous at this point in time, I can't turn a blind eye to report that is coming this week (CPI).

GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame is in a bearish structure. It made a bullish retest of the former 1.13410 major horizontal support zone (purple) and has flipped it as resistance. Presently, it is a minor horizontal support around 1.10850 but, technically, we would see further bearish move, perhaps, towards the 1.08500 value area (blue).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Rising energy prices in the US as a result of the OPEC production cuts will put upwards pressure on prices! Whether the published data reflects it yet, it will happen!

The more buy we get before CPI the better. I just don't see the price having time to go and test 1.15 as some believe will happen. I think this train is long gone. 1.13 is also a stretch, but maybe it will reach that level who knows. Thanks!

Now if everything falls into place, highly likely scenario we will witness is Bulls on Monday, Tuesday and Bears for the rest of the week.

Weekly confirming it just makes this buy even more probable and even more stronger. 1USD>1CHF this week.

This pair is yoyo atm, unless you are already in a trade you have to wait for price action at a D1 or W1 major zone with some confluence (e.g. retest and price imbalance) at an ltf before trading this pair early in the week.

Purely speculating, it can be Asia selling, UK buying on Monday (same as last week); Asia often continue the Friday move before Europe / London reverses. I would expect that the move up if it happens is done on Wednesday and early Thursday; FOMC minutes can always be read both ways, and if market wants to sell USD and buy risky assets, it will find the narrative it needs. CPI, on the other hand, will probably be a straightforward sell all trade.

Hm, I overlooked US PPI on Wednesday. if German PPI is of any indication, the spillover of inflation can be brutal. Situations are different though, much lower energy prices in US... Still, it may be a market mover if there would be a big miss.
