but it's very important to use SL because it's the only thing that protects you from burning your account.

Look at this simple 5 min chart.

What else one needs to make money ?

Money can be made in retrace mode.

To tell you the truth, aLL MY money 2.45 % was made in long trades.

Then some long trades after NFP dip.

After nfp dip, there was retrace of 50 to 60 pips. Is there no money to be made in this ?

Most of my longs were made after Frankfurt open and LO

I said session open is important in my previous post.

In this chart, make 1 % and quit trading Friday.

Maintain patience, risk management, fear of loosing and most importantly greed.

Note :

One can make 1 % at the last hour of NY session.

At one place where I worked for the executive vice-president, he ask me if my job was fun. I answered, "Most of the time". He answered, "Great! If you cannot find fun in what you're doing, I'd rather you would do something else. Because if you're not enjoying what you're doing, you will simply be working a job, thinking about what you are missing."

I was the youngest manager in the history of the company, and became the youngest divisional manager to head a start-up division. So just maybe having SERIOUS fun (along with some degree of intelligence) will take you further than just being SERIOUS most of the time.

One can take arrows ( if one wishes ) not as a signal but time has come to take trade with proper risk management.

From the place of arrow, if the price dips or rises 30 pips how does it matter if i follow proper risk management ?

And then consider these :

Session open,

session close last hour, last 4 hr.

what if the floating/open position widens its loss and dont look back to TP?

Yes, we all can make money next week and the coming weeks.

It is sideways wide range market type conditions.

Between 1.1460 and 1.0787 , bulls will make money, bears will also make money, only the pigs get slaughtered.

Where do you place your Buy SL and where do you place your Sell SL ?

Once you know your SL and your risk amount, Position Sizing will be important to make some money.

Your worst case Cut-Loss for Buyers is below 1.0787 and for Sellers is above 1.1460

In the same way i would say, I am basically an engineer, and grown from filing daily letters technical designs and drawings.

I was grown up as Design engineer then Project head to build 132 kv to 400kv Sub stations + Power stations ( after PMP certification )and then finally as a division head + Company start up

In the last company wherein I worked, i was hired as second person for company start up.

I was hired by that company seeing my passion in my work ( I was called over phone by the Company CEO for interview and to fix up package )

All these, I can say, I had passion in what I was doing and got rewarded.

Anyways that is over, now I am 50 + and took trading as my passion ( seriousness ).

excellent yes.

One can make money in buy or sell, WHere is stoploss and what capital that stop will erode is what important.

People consider arrows as signals.

Asking repainting or not ?

Wrong concept.

Arrows must be built in to your trading system as another tool.

Trading is not mechanical .

If that is the case, every one will make money.

build your system with what I said, mainly session start ( London, Frankfurt ) NY close etc.
