Disliked{quote} Yes, people must realize that they trade to make money not for fun. Seriousness is needed. It is home based job and for most of people. What they should do to make money ? 1. As others here posting, it is not necessary that money can be made only in trending. In each swing, one can make money. Swing on trend side ( 5 or 15 min or hourly for day traders ) Swing on retrace side. 2. Patience... it is needed a lot. 3. Session open. It plays a critical role in making money. 4. Disliked{quote} I trade seriously for fun. Trading is a small part of my life. I suspect that most retail traders have some dream that trading is or will become their main/only income source. It is likely that most leave it after the dream has morphed into one of their worst nightmares.Ignored

Disliked{quote} it is not necessary that money can be made only in trending. In each swing, one can make money. That is because EVERY swing is created by TRENDS on smaller TFs. Therefore, by selecting a TRENDING TF that is creating the higher TF swing, you will indeed be trading with the trend--EVERY TIME! If you don't believe this, simply mark off ANY swing on a higher TF, then change the chart to lower TFs and look for yourself. This is part of the fractal-like nature of financial time series.Ignored

Disliked{quote} You are right, but the 1% part is what I don't really endorse, I used the 1% rule with high winrate but I was always losing majority of my trades not until I started risking 3 to 5% of my account with a winrate of 46%, although I barely hit SL lately but this works for me. So what I'm saying is that everything depends on whether you understand the market or you just dont.Ignored
