First rule, do not lose pips.
But, like a war. you can lose a battle but win the war.
Just keep the odds /stats on your side. losing a few pips will be part of the game.

Also, H4 has been going up a very significant amount for the past days without a solid retracement, so is overdue to drop.

Monday I was already looking at smaller TFs to go into down trends to get the up movement stopped.

I did think about that for this trade, but because the candle was going up quite fast I really expected it to go past my TP into the 1.1500 range. I was going to to set TP for the high of the day, but I changed my mind. Easy to see the mistake now, but at the time I liked my plan
