After 114 area on the weekly, 115 looks like a resistance area on the daily.

Not necessarily, if we get to 112, I believe bears will attempt to breach 110 and from there, anything is possible.

When violent moves happen, they tend to fade back. GBP was taking a huge dump last week and look how violently we covered back all ground. It is now a question of where this new "equilibirum" lies and how we move from that point on.

Remember, Asian session yesterday, GBPUSD was red (around -0.4%) and looking at breaching 1.10. Suddenly, in two swift junctions, it is at 1.13.

I don't think we have any "strong support" formed during this run-up. Right now, if 1.13 slips, bears will target 1.12 and from what we saw yesterday during Asian session, 1.12-1.11 does not have any strong supports either. In other words, I'm not sure where is the landing point from 1.13-1.10.

Let's see.

EDIT: Bear scenario, not citing it is bearish. At this point, like I said, I want to see where the "equilibrium" is.

Making higher low = each pullback is met with higher buying interest/ sellers expect the market would not go lower so they take their profit early.

It is below parity, throwing out all technical or fundamental analysis, people are not too eager to bet big that it sinks more. Just pyshcological pricing.

If we can't see a clean break below 1.13 by Asian close, will the retest still hold?

On retest is the place MM hunt for liquidity.
Price already break YH and now going to take liquidity at RSF zone, that is lower than Asia low.

I see the LQ is below 1.13 area, ie previous Break Out zone.
