I see that GU has been going silly to start the session off today. I couldn't make an entry as I just got home, but Kuroda San has given me an entry with my Sell Limit on UJ. Now we can wait and see where it goes

Well that was a fantastic start . Chased it just past the resistance. So it tell us it can break . And a nice move back to my ema as we know you never get that much open space . I had 1.311 and 1.346 is target so can we build it allllll back

Pound jumps as UK PM Truss & chancellor Kwarteng have abandoned plan to abolish top rate of income tax for highest earners in astonishing U-turn.
Kwarteng acknowledged that plan to axe 45% rate on earnings >£150,000 in a move to be paid for by borrowing had become "distraction."

Can it sustain ?. Or just a knee jerk ?

Simple price structure.

Break and Retest.

Let's see if price retest does hold and continue going long, if price breaks 11589 then I'll abort my long idea for for the day.

knee jerk imho the cut only helped a very very small minority also this shows the weakness in the government

UK income tax reversal “saves” around £2bn
Not huge in context of other unfunded tax cuts (see below from Mini-Budget) but the reversal in stance is key. $GBP marginally higher, Gilts now 5-10bp lower
BUT: budget deficit + current account deficit situation still stands
