Pattern recognition. Can be found at any tf. In this case, 5m.

Red line: Gap
Blue dot: Breaking gap & holding position
Green line: 1st wave out of normally 3

Bullish reversal will come when it clearly breaks the upper line (not necessarally after 3 times but normally). The breaking can be small or big, what we communly call a spike.

I am bearish overall trend both fundamentally and technically analysis wise and already manage to get into the 120 pip down move now what shall i do

- Book the profit and close the trade
- since i am bearish overall so hold the trade
- how shall i buy when my trend both fundamentally and technically is bearish and every up leg i will sell and get my SL hit which will eat also the unrealised profit in hand
- and not taking profit perhaps price eventually reach to my emtry and i get nothing

GREED and FEAR

but both of you make it simpler LTF follow the money.

just think more in quarters , havent really found any good quarterly stuff for mete over the years , my ensign charts the temps were programed a long long time ago by a good bud , nothing really special , just a quarterly mind set , it is how business gets done , even this business , then the above and below some shit , nothing more than the monthly weekly and daily 200 s , weekly levels to help in the back and forth between the quarterlys below that a hourly 200 etc , would be the better things hourly 200 is not quite a 10 day average price , this gig is only about the numbers , an average of them numbers , and the ones that move it , their bottom line , it dosent much care about anything else ,gets below something it gets sold till it isint below it , it gets above something it gets bought till it isint above it any more , end of story then its the same damn spots back the oother way till it finds one the boys agree on

Pattern recognition: GBPJPY 10m tf

Red line: Gap

Blue dot: where it will break into & hold. can be any part of the gap (from 1.0760 and below for cable as a correlation).

After blue dot i will locate 1st wave up.

99% sure it has topped before blue dot. Note how it closed, nothing to do with MT4/5 platform which in my case always closes 3 min before the closing market. Nice candle drop.(another scamming feature)

Thank you for your views on that, perhaps blindness can be a problem of the way i asked question we all see and understand things differently afterall

I would like to request you to please add a chart to help easily understand the concept of tracking value intent for others to understand you well how will it help you enter or let it go in each of the move.

you have many more moving averages other the 200 ema (perhaps) and some rsi or stochastic too its okay if you like to keep your special system a secret i was thinking to use your template and indicator perhaps another day.

Hi Bilal

I think the answer is very simple, find out who the aggressor is and trade in the same direction provided there is enough participation by other traders to join them. In other words, place a tight stop if you are wrong about the aggressors direction and add to a winning trade if fellow traders also agree with the aggressor.

I feel traders spend too much time analysing the charts for Bias and should just pay more attention to market speed and urgency. Once you are safety on the right side of a trade, you can relax and build some positions until the aggressor jumps ship. The chart you showed is just a map to trap traders who think they can guess what someone else is about to do.

Quit following historical candlestick charts and just look at the current candle for direction. The only piece of vital information is the last uptick or down tick,


“are buyers producing upticks with urgency”
“are sellers producing down ticks with urgency”

Screw the signs that show different levels of liquidity on a chart, they are there to lure stupid traders in to thinking they know where the market is going next.

No body know what is about to happen soon, but the best guess is to follow urgent market orders just executed. Go to a large trading house and see how new trainees are trained over a six month apprenticeship. It’s normal for many firms to train them to follow executed market orders while watching if the liquidity is being pushed or pulled a few ticks away from current price. Why would they spend millions a year on training this way if it wasn’t the best approach.

But nothing I just wrote is much of a help for you no doubt as your’e fixed on trading historical liquidity pools which are created or withdrawn few ticks before price approaches.

Simple chart. There's the dramatic plunge Asia Monday, followed with Wednesday BOE forced to buy it's own debt to save the pension funds. Where can price go(what intent can there be) after passing wol mid-week to close high for what's to happen next week. Cheers

I agree, the difference is what tools we use, how we use them and how it fits into the entire analysis. It's the idea about the market, not the tools that's important.

Hope all is well Saw your post and thought id share how I approach....

I mainly am a intraday trader..Im in and out either in the session im trading or by EOD NY... with that said Im normally not going on any Fundamental Bias...
Sometimes I will have a larger TF technical bias...and I execute on the 1m and 5m charts...

With that said... ASIA was a simple straightfwd short setup..3 session push London NY ASIA...price is above my 100 pip box....and wheres the normal stophunts..
25-50 pips above/below the 100 pip box... we have a DT pull the trigger short stop above the DT ...normal trading per se....
Its Asia and since its the EUR/USD dont expect much from it...

Next
London... again above 100 pip box.. in the 25-50 pip SH zone...Franfurt opens and we have 3 pushes down (3 15M candles) thats a strong indication
the markets are drawing in the shorts...So wheres the short term money...its in the SH back up 25-50 pips above Asia and Franky open

A quick 3 pushes up 50 pips to the high and a nice M double top on the 1M perfect short setup..
3 level session rise...3 level push..in the 3rd hour...the "333" setup...

Next
NY......3 pushes down from London PFH....NEWS CPI....WAIT...Equity's open... Double bottom formed perfect long signal...
Where to ??? to the GAP TIME HIGH...ive repeated many times how important this is..Thats the "REAL" high the market will chase and sure enough it does it
again and again and again... Market takes out the gap high at the DOL..with a large Engulfment.. another picture perfect entry...At PDH

Anyways all very clear setups on the EURUSD for the 30th...Simple readable Market mechanics that repeat every single day.
Quarter Levels..BRNs..DOL WOL MOL..PFH PFL PDL PDH MH ML WH WL ..DT.DB..Levels of 3's ... TIMING and PRICE...The only 2 constants always...
This is exactly how I would have traded these sessions...not taking into account any FVGs ICT methods...I do incorporate those concepts
as well as others for Trade mgmt targets etc...

Example shown for trade mgmt...8EME HL channel... Ive shown many examples of this being used for an exit signal..Just another tool.
Hope this helps with a different insight...Its what I do every single day...

lol, the m5 bucking bronc you say , welp the aussi s not only kicked the tires , they lit the fire , they knew how much room they had , that quarterly level is the same on every chart and it did line up with a pretty stout weekly level ,,,,,,one might anticipate a good bounce , it did , all the way back to the 1st in line the M15 200 which it did claw back during the week , also as one might anticipate with a big level getting hit , couple weekly levels in there probably helped ,
