Well, everyone went short at 1.124, so 100, 150 pips above that should be decent enough to get people to close short orders and then byebye Pound.

If you take the who daily range, yesterday was 440 pips.

What's the betting you won't hear about any of this is the media? There won't be any headlines about a surging pound or a falling dollar. Just as after the Brexit vote, you didn't hear about the pound recovering. The media love to hate on this country.

Little bit harder to estimate when the fall will come, but it will. Now the ratio of traders is almost 50/50 long and short. This means buy will persist until 65% trigger long orders. As long as it is neither here nor there they will use this opportunity to recover Pound and Euro. That's why I said, I worry my short will fail today because of this ratio. Until now it was 80% of traders long on Pound and Euro, hence the fall last time. Now more and more people shorting. I can smell they are just waiting to drop the nuke. They gotta convince people this is a reversal before destroying them. Maybe we will witness even 1.17.

...might have been the news that Truss/Kwarteng are meeting with the OBR today? Re those mortgage approval numbers just out in Uk, watch those fall of edge of a cliff next month as all these mortgage products have been withdrawn here by lenders.

It is tempting to jump on this moving train up, but my rules don't allow me to jump on a moving train. I just have not seen an entry that I like so far. I have to stay in the long grass and see if anything comes along. If not, it's ok as it's the end of a good week, and a good month too.

There is obviously something going on. The USDX is typically moving inversely to the GU. Today this relationship is hit and miss for every candle!
