I really started to follow what I preach. I do not trade London session anymore. I only focus on one hour for trading from now on. 2 hours after NY open and one hour before London close. Usually news are in this hour for America and they often give very easy trade until London close. I avoid London like a plague. Also, no more long term trades. I was having really nice profit the other day just to see BoE or whoever intervened and suddenly 40 pips were gone in seconds. After news for America catch two 15M candles and get out of the trade. 20-30 pips a day and what more do you need? This is how I trade now that the market is this insane. Of course, on 15M TF SL isn't as big. It's not easy. London creates a mess (ALWAYS) and until NY open there is no "easy trade". I agree with Navk on one thing, that Asian session is perhaps the best time to be trading. In the past whatever I lost in London session and I would lose 85% of the time I get back in NY session. I decided not to trade London for that reason. Asian session for example was easy as hell to trade for example today. Also, started to analyze 15M candles and more often than not, if candle opens red it will end up being green. More then 50% of the times! One other thing I realized. When watching 15M candles, I can't help but realize that action happens only 5-6 minutes before 15M candle closes, perhaps even less. They will destroy your patience in the first 10 minutes going up and down and then 5 minutes before closing the candle they go one way or the other. I was forced to start scalping because of this market is insane lately. We had one minute candle with 300 pips for God's sake..

...price touched top of that prev 1hr sw hi zone = prev res=pot rbs and with the 5min bullish hidden div there it is trying to make some upside progress after the pullback from current dly hi in that prev 1hr x 2 tests/4hr sw hi x 1 test zone leading to Monday's & current wkly hi = prev res = pot res.

Also, I know how much you like trading GBP/USD people, but I have to say. This pair is the hardest one to trade right now. Trading Euro, Pound and USD is insanely hard to trade lately due to the news out of the sky that can come any second and 100 pips can come in seconds and wipe you out instantly. Without SL, as Pat said, you're a dead man walking.

if a 100 pip move will wipe you out you are over leveraged...

Haha of course. Just sayin'. I know when I came to Forex thinking I will be rich in 2 years and quit my job. LoL. Just a warning to my past-self and people that are thinking the same as I did before market spit on me, shit on me and told me to get the hell out. LoL . 2% a trade and no more. It's a long long road ahead. That's what you learn the hard way when you either lose the account or lose almost all.
