That might have impacted GBP and any pair traded with it but this appears to have impacted every pair!

Hmm maybe some had a fat finger incident this news is GBP positive as it implies BoE will be buying UK government debt amid the dumping its seen of late. But the news would not have been enough for such a big move. Probably why it dod not hold, someoones gonna get fired among the banks.

Yes, I don't understand it either. Perhaps that because GBP is a big player and the UK is a pretty important economy, this news freaked out all the other players too? It all flies at about 10,000 feet over my head

Look for currency correlations you will understand what you've missed. How external factors affect them. And so on..
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

Ohhhhhh......I wonder if that will work out past October 14 when they will stop this bond buying stuff. Market sets it's own level. Maybe they have a better strategy than BOJ? I suppose we will find out!
