I think it can't afford a small SL too. So, perhaps the problem for you isn't the SL itself, but the lot size of the trade? Trouble is you will only know if it's volatile after it's happened "recent moves prove this), just remember the market will move anytime, any amount in any direction, problem is with charts (which I don't use) we focus on what's just happen and think it will happen again..."The past does not equal the future"...hope this helps...

I'm using SL for emergency spikes and mental exit when things isn't favorable to me, but today's and yesterday's session seems to be hunting me non-stop before going in the direction as per expected.

There are a few trades I even adjust SL to a 25-30 pips for it to breath.

I dont wanna remove SL because it's too dangerous especially since yesterday's incident where tons of ppl got margin called for the flash drop.
