interest rates could go as high as 7 to 9 percent if inflation doesnt come down. Usd will sky rocket over the years to come.

Any idea where PMI will be heading today. Will not be here today, yesterday made my weekly net profit. with Uj and GU.
Time to spare myself some times for myself.
Well not yet read the PMI consensus, but we might see some strength for UK service while weakness for Uk manuf'n.
GU might fall to this week low or to 1.12 which is a '85 resistance=> supporti if Uk PMI down and US PMI up

More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

Yes, thats the other half behind trend.
Well you see, a trend in a currency pair is consisting of 2 forces behind it.
One the numerator : GBP
& 2nd the denominator : USD

GBP UP / USD constant = GU UP
GBP UP / USD UP = GU UP very moderately or Sideways or may fall moderately (depending which forces behind which currency is stronger)
GBP UP / USD Down = GU UP very extensively

Now what we are experiencing for GU is that
GBP Down/ USD UP = this is what making the pair trending down this year.

Another example:
why UJ trending up laterly
Because:
USD UP
JPY Down
where the forces behind it, is carry trade. Since Yield/interest rate is increasing in the US (now sitting at 3.25%) while in japan is only at -0.1%, all money flows to higher return on saving account. Japanese and even foreigners borrowed from Japanese banks (at interest ~2%) to invest into US saving account. we called it the RISK-FREE investment.
