Hopefully we break the bottom tonight. Been shorting everything. It was a great decision to start hedging my long (0.05 lot) with 0.60 lot. Made good profit today!

That prev 1hr x 3 now/ 4hr x 2/minor dly sw lo zone running down to 1350 (current yrly lo) holds for now on 2nd 1hr re-test of the zone @ 1357 current dly lo. Still bearish overall though. Triple top on 1hr (double top on 4hr) making up the prev res = pot res zone up to current dly hi.

U.s inflation has in past couple of months or so shown signs of topping out, so the Fed's Fomc likely to go with +0.75% not +1.00% to try and avoid a so-called hard landing, per discussion earlier today in this thread. If this comes to be tomorrow (Weds,) how will the market view it? Will they be disappointed and sell $, or buy more? Perhaps they may start selling $'s anyway because it may signal to them that further aggressive rate rises are off the cards now? The fed and Boe have said they will data lead so it all depends on that really. Speaking of Boe, their Mpc is a generally more cautious/conservative body and are likely to go with +0.5% not the much-hyped +0.75% or more. Market is expecting 3.75% headline rate by year-end according to a lot of commentators, so from what with a +0.5% rise on Thursday would be 2.25%, there is still a fair way to go to meet that expectation/forecast, but a big leap up from 0.1% that started the year. I think it is fair to say that Boe Mpc have been behind the curve a bit on inflation! They may be encouraged by this mth's inflation data that on cpi at least showed signs of potentially topping out?

An interesting two trading days ahead. As a trader (not a consumer!) I don't care what they do as long as it's something to result in volatility, and the nirvana for us traders, - momentum and volatility!

In my books, 1350 will be breached tomorrow. I won't make the mistake of buying above 1350. I expect a breach downwards and then I'll buy. I see 1350 to 1270 as bounce areas.

0.75 could provide enough to bounce up. It’s already been priced in. The vote split will be what could see a bigger move up (if at all)
