USD/JPY went up as expected. Yen will continue to weaken.
Price will most likely test 145 again this week.

As for the next week I would start preparing short positions. Once the price reaches 145 I'll go short with a smaller lot and start building from there.

Price will eventually reach 135 let alone 145..

As for the Pound, I'm really at loss what to expect here. Is 1.12 the end? 1.09,1,07? God knows..

Something to watch on the GJ daily chart:- Made strong turnaround on Sep 13 followed by 4 consecutive red bars, currently struggling to stay in the green on bar 5. Switching to H4 you will see that bar before current one ended in a doji. There's a solid support line at 162.99, if that's going to give way you can expect another red candle for the day. On H1 the move is sideways and totally erratic which shows a lot of uncertainty for the time being.
Don't be fooled by a sudden move in any direction, be patient, don't fight the trend and keep on watching any approach towards the support line.

Yeah, you're right. Looks like consolidation for sure. Better not to trade it.

I would have thought that the meeting last week between Russia, China, Pakistan et el would have finally made the markets realize that the dollar is on the way out as the GRC.

But the world keeps buying it as if it's the most valuable asset in the world.

Had to apologize for something because I stated something that I found out to not be the case.. wish I saw it sooner so I could have told Robinhood. Anyway it's about CHF. I don't know why Forex Factory didn't forward the news from SNB back at Jackson Hole that they are going to raise rates by 50bps (then considered). This is why CHF appreciated so much these last days. Again Forex Factory is to blame for this because it failed to deliver crucial news from SNB on which traders could have made some very easy pips if they knew about it. Unfortunately they already priced it in. 75bps should however still give boost to CHF because at the time 50bps rate hike was considered by SNB.
