You should have booked Partial TP. Instead of trading 1 position of 1 lot, split it into 2 0.5lots. You can always booked one in profit at some key level. Then when the market retrace, if you did moved you Sl to BE, no loss. Even if you didn"t move, your Partial gain will surely cover your Loss of the split position if SL is Hit.

Yes, I have seen this done before, and it seems to work well. I think that my entries are quite good according to what I see, so I like to just let the trade run in one lot. I would like to scale in another trade in the same direction, but there hasn't really been the right market for me to do this.

You way is a good idea though

Well, I've been in this short for a while 10pips up. I think the real action is on the news. Let's see which way. I think down to be honest, but you never know. 18 pips up now, but will be out of this ready for 1.30...
