major low around 78.40 as it stands now. Probably be going lower by the time price gets there.

Considerable gap being a slow pair. Added one more long hoping to catch 73.40 but missed the fact after horus. Went in at 73.67 due to spread. One of those mistakes.... Anyway, 35€ profit already. I expect 100 pips garanteed

But we can predict psychology of people. They operate the same way irrespective of the time considered.
and it is the price action depict this.

As you mentioned, its not easy to predict, even pro cant have a "sure-thing" but we can use probabilities. and I think this what trading financial instruments is consist of.

For this particular reason, "risk management" was developed- to incur the least disaster and "money management" to keep the money we've made for the future.

Also, one of the main reason why 95%-98% of traders lose money in trading, cause they dont understand psychological behind the market.

And on top of that its hard to explain that, cause personally i think its a game of intuition and guts.

Intuition- you dont know 100% that what you are expecting to happen will happen, but you do have a feeling it might happen

Guts- Even tho you dont sure what is expecting, will happen, you took the trade in that direction with a proper risk management to enable you to manage sh8ts if things dint worked out as planned.

btw, maybe we see more than 3k trading system threads on FF mostly discussing how to make a profit, but not a single thread discussing how to keep the profits ( and I haven't found it yet ) lol

The BOE's interest rate decision has been postponed to September 22 to allow for a period of mourning for Queen Elizabeth.

This will actually give central bank officials more time to digest this week's GDP and inflation figures, and it should be interesting to see what impact this has on GBP/USD.

From a technical perspective, cable could have room to run following las week's bounce from near the March 2020 lows, as well as the US Dollar Index trading at 20-year highs. However, the fundamental backdrop still supports selling pressure on the pound. If this week's data bolsters concerns surrounding persistent record-high inflation against slowing growth, the pair could be at risk of retesting the pandemic-era support around 1.14 again.

All trading carries risk, but it will definitely be wroth keeping an eye on this pair over these next two weeks.
