Taking weekend rates with a pinch of salt but this weekends rate have seen a big upward move

We do wonder about those crazy re bounced spikes... Apparently options hedged positions are bigger then in 2008.

If you are tracking the GBPUSD this week, consider this technical viewpoint from a medium-term swing trader. GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame is in a bullish correction of a bearish technical structure after a bearish retest of the 1.13970 multi-year low. Further bullish move is favoured and we may see a drive towards the 1.17550/1.18620 horizontal resistance zone (red).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Well, this ruined some of my plans.

Actually this ruined a lot for me. Possible trades I wanted to take included Euro.
I guess no trading today. We'll see.

Yeah, it was wise to close the trades on Friday, otherwise some of the winning trades would now be lost. Definitely never leave the trade over the weekend.

Yea consolidation. Is really frustrating mostly when are against trend because at that price can spring surprise. I'm happy that currently price is braking in my favour. I'm up about 2% profit since 31stof August I engage the market.
Trend is our friend and I like being on its side...
I'm seeing 1.80000 but I'm no god, I could be wrong.
A break below 1.50000 will put me at around 5% drawdown.
The price gap up at opening I believe it will close the gap before doing whatever he does best tryna take our money.

I think the most difficult aspect of trading is training our yourself to understand price, I mean price movement - price action. Indicators are just an added advantage to measure price to confirm what price has done or is doing and can never tell 100%what price will do. I, personally don't use it, not even one indicator.
Time frame does nothing except to give us a better view of price...........
