Of course, what the Fed does or doesn't do, is actually secondary because as the latest Gazprom news out of Europe demosntrate clearly, it's Putin who has been in charge all along.

Expected rate hike from ECB has been set to 75bps. This should boost Euro in the short term this week before the rate hike actually takes place. Bad news for USD which we witnessed on Friday should also help Euro to appreciate in the short term.

I spoke to some of the Americans and from what they say, there isn't much trust in the Fed and the pressure from rate hikes is definitely felt the most by the people that are not earning enough of course, but also by the middle class people. All in all, even though energy prices in America aren't as bad as in Europe, they have stated that they are pretty aware we are about to witness very hard times ahead of us. As was said, the level of confidence in Fed is dropping.

Last Non-Farm data we witnessed, much of this number were just people getting another job (working two jobs) or getting called back to their job once they lost it in Covid time.

Also wages should have risen, not fall as most of us experienced in the Europe for example, as a government's response to rising inflation.

Nord Stream problem will be resolved.

I think by the year's end, much attention will be given to JPY which in my opinion could end up being THE currency in the 2023.

It is the US trying to 'punish' Russia and instead punishing Europe for a war that the US started by funding Ukraine and encouraging them to antagonize Russia for over 20 years now!

Respectfully, it is part of understanding what is impacting all currency pairs and the global economy today. The path out of this does not appear to be the path identified by President Biden where Russia is split into several smaller countries. Clearly trying to punish Russia is also not working. So what is the plan that will get the global economy on the path to recovery?

Blaming USA doesn't help when it comes to making a EURUSD analysis mate. The truth is Ukraine is a independent country and it is their right to chose which side they want to join. They preferred the West over the East and dhead Putin should understand that he should have respected that. Now it is a war of attrition for Russia. Even if they manage to beat Ukraine, they will still lose. Easy win for USA in every possible scenario. Putin better start practicing chess with his dumb yesmen, with Shoygu perhaps, for his own sake.

Back to EURUSD, yeah energy crisis affects Euro badly. USD however is strengthening it's place as a safe heaven. So these conspiracies doesn't really apply to the real world economics.

Should be Only looking for short opportunities my friend eurusd is not even close to finishing its down trend. This is all about usd strength. Although I do have eur buys against other pairs that are doing much worse in anticipation for Thursday ecb
