It happens, my first TP today, very smooth sailing, reached 50%+ TP in a few candles, then 1 big bullish one erased almost all the gains.

Scenario materialized, price closed above daily pivot, the possible danger zone for the trade is over, confidence increased further in trade and became safe to hold till TP (if market allows).

Pound has grown these days. And now is falling to the level of 1.18130 again. Seems like pound is standing in place. Pound rises a little bit, then falls a little. But it still remains at the same level.

You might get it, after the trade closed above the pivot, i treated that trade as if I freshly entered at that price and according to system, the SL should be the lower end of pivot 1.17975, price suddenly take a turn to downside now and almost hitting that lower end pivot.

I already moved my SL to that new SL 1.17975 as if I entered based on system rule, even if I am forced to exit there, i still bag a small profit.

EDIT: Daily pivot lower end got hit, i am out of this long now, bagging a small profit. If i were to enter after price closed above pivot, this would be a SL trade.

That's it for today, quick recap: Mon (+1), Tue (-1 +1), Wed (+1, plus 2 quick trades with small profits).

I fully understand your reasoning and respect you for that. But sometimes when trade turns against you like a steam train you just know its more than likely to hit your SL, so if you are at the monitor it may be a bit more rewarding to end trade manually. The same can be said for T/P, if you loose full steam momentum you may want to take profits a little earlier. also if it is racing towards your T/P you can always increase your T/P in line with strength of candle. But this is all dependant on you concentrating on the screen.
But you must only do what you are happy and comfortable with.
